There will be a meeting this Thursday, April 22, at 7:00 in MSC 3701. The focus of the meeting with be the USF Area Bicycle Map. We’ll also be briefly discussing our events during the Summer, our plans for the “Week of Welcome”, and our ride to the Fun-Lan Drive-In Theater this Saturday.

In his column, “Bike safety still lacking at USF“, Nick Johnston highlights some of the major problems with bike/pedestrian safety infrastructure at USF. The article explains some of the things that are being done to improve the campus, as well as pointing out areas that still need work. Well-written, and worth reading.

Next Group Ride
On Thursday, March 11, the Bicycle Club plans to have another recreational ride around campus! The ride is scheduled to begin at 11am, in front of Juniper Poplar hall. Come out and join us if you’re around during Spring Break! Our previous ride was a blast!
